I am recording a band for the next two weeks at my university's studio and we agreed yesterday with the band, that they would be here by 6pm. At 5:15pm they call me that they just left Helsinki (the distance is ~300km) and that they will be "a bit late" and that they would be here at around 8pm. Then, they called me about half an hour ago (its now 8pm) that they forgot some stuff to their rehearsal space and they would be here at around 9-10pm.
So not only is the band mere 3-4 hours late, but we practically lost 2 full days of recording because we weren't notified early enough that we can't use the controlroom or the liveroom for the first two days because there is an entrance exam going on at the university during those days (and of course they are held at both the control room and the liveroom that we had reserved). We can barely set up the drumset and mic it today, but thats about it, because we have to get out of there by 11:30pm because of the alarm system.
But pics, videos, blogs, drumsamples, "rate my tone" -thread and other info coming up, I'll keep you guys posted
