Doom 3 controller problem

Hey guys. Does anyone use a controller for Doom 3? I just installed one, and did a diag test on it, and the controller works kosher, but I can't find any options in the game that let me choose the controller as a device. Any thoughts?? Thanks.

I don't think D3 has a controller option..
I never read about it in any reviews,...

Okay, There is no controller options.
As far as i know, the mouse is the only type of controller you use.
I think id didn't want anything to do with a controller, and besides, only FPS game's i know that used controllers as joysticks and such were quite old, let's say from 96-00
either that or talk to id, or e-mail them...
