Swap firewire controller, soundcard is gone?!

Hi guys!
I have a Digi 003 and I have been running this on my motherboard firewire controller.

Now I changed to a PCI firewire card because of some "problems" but then the new controller can't find my Digi003? I re-installed the drivers 20 times and disabled the onboard firewire interface but nothing helps.

Anyone that had the same problems? The new firewire interface is working fine with other stuff just that it seems like something still is holding back the drivers to be controlled on the "old controller". Reinstall? =)
