This show was awesome. The band was "tight", sounded great, and Phil's singing was phenomenal. They had an opening vide that payed homage to their roots that featurd videos by: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Free, Robin Trower, Ted Nugent, AC/DC, Kiss, & Lynyrd Skynrd & maybe more. It lasted almost an hour, but was stil pretty cool. The Down hit the stage. After the show I met and got pictures with Jimmy Bower, Rex Brown, & the mighty Philip Anselmo. Here is what I remember of the setlist:
The Path
Lysergik Funeral Procession (no intro, unforntunately, but still great)
Lifer (dedicated to "Dimebag Darrell)
Three Suns One Star
Hail The Leaf
I Scream
Ghosts Along The Mississippi
Learn From This Mistake
Mourn
N.O.D.
Temptation's Wings
Eyes Of The South
On March The Saints
Never Try
Lies
Losing All (attempted to cover this song with Stone King back in 1996, I did a decent Phil Impression until the last of the song were he draws out "Losing Aaaaaall", Nope, I couldn't do it)
Stone The Crow
Jail (awesome live)
Bury Me In Smoke
the order might not be exactly right and I may have left off a song but all I know is that the riff compelled me. Good Times. And many thanks to Ray for the camera and ride to the show.
