Dragonfire Pickups

Was looking around a few days ago for a new set of pups for my RG and came across these guys. For $80 i'm a little hesitant to get them though. Has anyone around here used these things and are they at least usable? Or should I just save the extra money and go with the tried and trusted emg route.

Eh... I'd rather spend the same amount and get the real thing used, or like $20 more for each and get brand new ones haha.

It's matter of what you want ... I've never heard of these pups before or have heard anything that they've been on, but I would rather go for the legit EMGs 81/85s , rather than knock-offs. Me personally, I would rather get Seymour Duncan Blackouts than EMGs any day if you're looking for active pups (they're AMAZING), but that's your call homie!

Blatantly ripping off a design is one thing, being proud about it is another. I'd avoid the company like the plague just for that.

Yeah I figured that was the general consensus around here. Ill save up the extra couple bucks and go with some used emg's if i can find em...Aynone got an 81/85 combo for sale?!?

I do in fact. Took them from my schecter last week. Took everything out, including the pots, switches, jack, socket, capacitor, etc. It is the old version, (not the solderless).

If you're interested send me a pm with a fair offer. Not sure what shipping will be like, but shouldn't be that much.
