I know this might be a longshot, but anyone here going this Wednesday to the House of Blues?

I am not as big of a fan of these two bands as I was a few years ago, but this billing should be a fun show.

Does anyone know the setlist for Sonata Arctica?
I heard they are only playing like 5 songs or some bullshit. And White Pearl Black Ocean is not one of them! Boo!!!!!

Anyway, I was thinking about popping over there after work on Wed to see SA, and then leave after their set, because I really don't give a damn about DF ever since Sonic Firestorm. I'm glad they are getting the exposure to mass audiences, but it's like they forgot about songwriting and focused purly on being the "Fastest band in the Land" and sounding like a friggin' video game. Screw that. Enjoy your Guitar Hero royalties.

www.metalsetlist.com has thier set list for both bands....it is true....Sonata are getting like 6 songs. I would go if this show was on a weekend but not worth taking a day off work to go to this.

The 6 song setlist I believe is a "partial" setlist.
As far as I can tell, there are only 3 bands, so hopefully SA will get more.

Jose - I too have a $10 service-fee-free ticket! Can't beat it.

It looks like SA is rotating a couple of songs in their setlist. The LA & Calgary shows had a few changes. I will see the show tomorrow. I also got the $10 ticket.

I'm not going to the show I wish I was but I'd get pissed off only seeing 6 SA songs unless I could score a $10 ticket.

I'm walking distance from the venue about a mile South of it.

My son is graduating from Navy boot camp at Great Lakes and then is being sent to Pensacola for Air Rescue training (proud mama much?!) I'll have the weekend with him and plan to get him down to Chicago and away for a few.

I'm pretty sure Sonata doesn't have a song called Black and Grey. I'm guessing this is supposed to be The Last Amazing Grays, since that and Flag in the Ground are the two singles off the new album.

I'll be at the show in Minneapolis tomorrow night, so I'll report back with that setlist!

The first dragonforce CD was okay...but everything after is so boring. I'm passing on this show.

Did you guys realize that the doors open at 5pm and the show is at 5:30pm? At least that's what the HOB website says....what's on your tickets?
