Dragonforce's greatest hits album. A must buy!!

Yep, but what do you tend to like? Fast / neoclassical stuff, slower midpaced stuff, ballads? Sonata's got it all. If you don't like Tony's voice though, it's useless.

Dont remember the voice, not sure if that was the problem or not. I think I only had two songs. Whats their most stand out piece ? doesnt matter how fast, dont know about the ballad part though unless its just awesome probably not a ballad. You know Im a proggy, so I like masterpieces, if not masterpieces at least something that rocks or is gripping.

I also think sonata arctica are the same, every song sounds the same!!!

I agree. I've never been able to get into them. Too generic for my tastes.

Most Japanese games are much harder than their American counterparts.

Not including the Resident Evil (Biohazard) games, most of which have "easy" modes in the Japanese releases that aren't featured in the NA or PAL versions.

@korruption- I also bought chronicles for psp the first day it came out. I had not previously played the original Rondo of Blood because the only thing close to it that ever came out here was that horrible excuse for a game called Castlevania X, which was supposedly a very watered down version of it. I have always heard that it was a hardcore game yet I have not had too much trouble or frustration from it (the remake version). Don't get me wrong I have died a good amount of times;however, it just hasn't been too frustrating. I am now on the last level and it is the only level that has frustrated me enough to just put the game down before I through my 300 dollar psp at the wall. Oh, and if you want a super hardcore game play the ghost n goblins/ghouls n ghosts games, they will make you cry. Even the newer psp game Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins is hardcore, hell, I think it is more hardcore than the old games because there is a lot more to the levels and it is harder to memorize them. You even get a few instant respawns when you die and it is still probably harder.

Back on the note of FF games- FF9 is my absolute favorite. You could have 4 chars in your party and each one had their own totally unique use about them. I hate how in the newer FF games (like 10) you can just make every character learn whatever you want, eventually even having every character max out the full skill chart. I think it takes away from the uniqueness of each character, besided in FF9 there was still some versatility with the gem system which allowed you to allocate gem points to whatever support type skills you wanted. The way I look at FF12 is that if I wanted to play an MMO game I would play FFXl because then you can at lest play with other people. I hear FFXlll is going to have the same MMO like battle system as Xll and I am now claiming FF as a ruined series. A good example of how popularity can ruin something good.

The point I was making about FF7 being the DF of FF games comes from the idea that most people got into FF or even rpg's in general from first playing FF7. Because of this fact, these people praise it as being the best rpg game ever created. They don't base this opinion on logic, rather they base it on nostalgia and the feeling of their "first time" playing a FF or rpg game.DF has this same thing going in the metal community.

That's the reason Nintendo didn't make "The Lost Levels" the official sequel to Mario Bros. here, they thought it would be too hard for us so instead they took an entirely different game, slapped the Mario characters over the originals, and sold it as Mario Bros. 2 here.

A lot of games just have too much frustration and aren't worth all the frustration factor, no matter how solid everything else is. Symphony on the PSP is sucking right now ONLY because of the terrible PSP interface and their poor excuse of a control pad and analog stick, so it's no fault of the game but man it's very difficult to play it like this. :(

I can imagine with that little nub of a control stick how hard it is to play the game.

On the topic of games, my friend and I were playing pong on a snes emulator and it was glitched as hell and extremely funny. Check it out.

Ok so we're talking international ones. Then i was talking FFVI... remember they're numbered totally differently in america :erk:

they used to be until every single game was re released here under the proper title

though of course the original SNES "FF3" is still the best US version of FFVI due to Woolsey's translation and the fact that the game doesnt lag like the psx version, though the new GBA release has some great extras, too bad the translation suffered...

you should play CT if you didnt beat it, the game only takes about 10 hours to finish but it also has like 13 (i think?) different endings depending on the point in which you beat the game and certain conditions.

on the topic of mario brothers "the lost levels", the original jp super mario brothers 2 was indeed later released here as the lost levels on mario allstars with updated graphics. The game that we got as Super mario bros 2 was originally a game called Doki Doki Panic in Japan. However, you can find the mario version of this game in Japan as well, in japan they call it Super Mario USA
