Maybe they sound a bit more serious now... if so I have to check out the new album.
EDIT : Firewind is a US Power Metal band (= no happy melodies ), agressive, technical (awesome drumming) and very melodic at the same time, with a massive production. They're like a cross between Metal Church, Scorpions (when they played Metal) and Chastain, if that makes sense.
