they arn't progressive rock they are progressive METAL!


just because they dont do growls and such doesn't mean they arn't metal.

and of course i like dream theater if you can't already tell by my avatar.

Although I do consider them a pretty good band, personally, I think they're a tad overrated. But before people go verbally attacking me, this is just my opinion. While they are all extremely talented musicians, I feel like some of the wankery can be a bit redundant sometimes. Labrie's vocals tends to get on my nerves sometimes too.

There was a time I considered them one of the most amazing bands I've ever heard, but these days I'm more into the avant-garde metal and rock scene. That said, I still like them. Awake is an excellent album (my favorite from them).
