Here a question open to all - What low freq do you think sits best on a Drop C tuning for bass - i carnt get a Consistancy from any low end from 50hz to 100z boosts - bass is mic'ed not D.I'ed and a shite technique, any help?, ho hum? :Spam:

Just compress it to hell. And if it still needs consistancy, hang the bass player. Also posting a clip of the bass soloed would really help telling us whats really wrong there.

While I'm not quite sure I understood the question correctly, I'm pretty sure the answer is this
Sometimes there are situations when you just can't get the tone where you want. If the raw material is crap, you might just have to settle with the results you can get if re-tracking is not an option.

Multiband compression is what it sounds like you are in need of. Just compress that specific frequency range so that it is consistent.

I try to find a picture Drop D, Drop C with 24 frets for electrical gutar, but find something good at all. I see a lot of sites, but no any not to help me to see the picture which I dream a few weeks. Maby anybody already know site with such information?
