Don't suppose anybody has done this before and has a map for such a conversion....ezplayer wont do shit.

I've been sent midi thats been programmed using ezdrummer and its adding in LOTS of random hits that aren't suppose to be there. Who's doing something wrong here?

:\

you should ask them for a bounced version of their MIDI drums, so you can see what it is they want. Then it's a kinda long task of re-mapping the MIDI and save it for furure uses. I did MIDI remapping from Addictive Drums to SD 2.0 recently (same situation than you, MIDI was programmed elsewhere/another software), and now I can use it whenever I will have to. The remapping is a 1-time thing, but I admit it'll probably take like 90 min to 2h to make sure everything's in order.
Hope that helps

I've got an MP3 of how the mapping should go but I don't get all these random extra hits that seem to creep in when coverted? I've done the first track by hand....saving it as a template with a tweaked Metal Foundry map and hopefully the rest of the songs will fit in nicely. I'll just have to manually take out the odd hits it insists on putting in

what sequencer are you using?
in cubase you can mark false notes and just move them up/down
pressing the up and dows keys on the keyboard. additinal to this evertime
you move a note cubase plays back the sample where it's moved to so you
can instantly hear when you're in "the right row".
this may work in other sequencers also...

cheers

Well, you can always try to tell them nicely that they'll look like assholes on the stage when they try and fail to play their own songs, so that could justify some missing hits, lol

The thing that bugs me the most is that EZPlayer won't do the conversion...I thought it was kind of designed to convert from EZDrummer to SD2.0

Im using Cubase yup, these "false notes" aren't to be played though, they are just extras for some reason hence why im tripping out :\

Haha yeah I tried EZplayer, what a fail that is, didn't make a damn of difference!
