I have 4 songs recorded for a death metal band that i am starting solo, and i need a drum machine, i've used a couple of programs that suck ass, and i want one with a much easier interface and easy to understand. any help? :erk:

If you're talking machines (as opposed to software) look into the Boss models. They're pretty good (cymbals are lacking, but that's pretty common on most machines (track the cymbals apart from the rest of the sounds and reverb the hell out of em, that seems to help)). I use the DR-770 and get some decent sounding drums for a machine. The Alesis Sr-something or other is supposed to be a decent machine as well as a Zoom model (the number escapes me at this moment). The biggest thing about machines IMO is to not go crazy with em. Just give yourself an interesting beat and try not to overdo it. The more complex you make the patterns, the more it seems to sound like a machine.
