Drum only track for a new Underoath song

what i intended to say was... the main drums were recorded on 15ips tape... and the tom parts were most likely recorded at 30ips.

here you will see the roll-off difference between 15-30ips.

also, matt goldman uses a neotek console which can produce a significant amount of crosstalk... probably why you can hear the bass.

...practice.

You're talking about that main toms part? with the reverse swelling snare? To be honest it just sounds like really good mixed toms... Stating what you said the way you did is a bit cheeky and I doubt it to be honest

I fuckin love the Underoath drum sound. I remember there were some videos up about it from a previous album recording.

Didn't realise they got a new drummer, still got a great sound. You can see him playing drums at around 1min 20seconds. Don't hear anything though.

i don't mind the bass tone, but it seems a little weak overall. I feel like this genre of music always has the bass turned too low anyway

the first section with the really fast beat just sounds off of the click with the bass, guess they were really goin for the live feel

matt goldman's guitar tones usually have a ton of mids and low end, so when they are added it should blend well

Never really listened to this band. I'm digging just the drums and bass, but am scared that it's going to turn into a poo-fest once the guitars and vocals come in. What are some good songs to check out by these guys?

yea, those two albums are amazing. their album before those two is good as well, more poppy though. however I'm not a fan of anything prior to their last 3 albums
