Drum only track for a new Underoath song

And there goes the ringing snare! ;D ....

Has anyone ripped these tracks? Like JayB did with the drum stem? Would be great to align them in a DAW, copy the track and hitting the phase button of one track! So you could create a guitar only track!

i read an interview saying they wanted to go for a very raw and live sound. They felt their last to albums were a little to produced and editied, cant wait to see how it turns out

Ugh the vocals are mixed terribly! I'm loving the dirty wall of sound that's coming from everything else, but then the vocals are simultaneously buried under the guitars because of their EQ and riding on top of everything else, meaning you can't make out any of the vocals but they're still taking away from the rest of the mix. >< Hoping the master will be better.

It's pretty vibey and roomed out. I dig it. It's an interesting change from Ben's usual mixes too, which tend to be a lot more direct. Love that snare and toms. Feels like there is a whole wash of analogue all over the mix. Was it tracked to tape?

Edit: The more I listen to this, the more I like it. You can tell some serious chops went into the engineering. Love where the vocals sit. I don't think its always about utmost clarity and separation. They gain an aggression from all this saturation/distortion/compression. It's like they were chasing prominence using those rather than EQ. It's so different from the way I'd do it, that I can't help but love it.
