I'm pretty new to the forum and after going through the drum samples sticky I've found that most of the links are dead at this point. I've been using Toontrack's stuff (Superior) and found it well worth the money, just not for the heavy stuff. Before I blow chunk for the Slate pack, I'd like a bit of experience with the whole replacement thing. I guess what I'm getting at is - anyone got any good samples?

you really won't need any other samples once you get the slate pack
It probably be better for you to just buy the slate pack now, and learn how to replace with the slate samples
so you can get used to what you're going to be using anyways, right?
