drumagog and video memory

i'm on a vista system right now and might not have the menu names quite right for XP, but i found a workaround to this problem to be:

control panel > display > and then the tab that shows your reso. selection, click advanced (i believe) and you should get a tab for either your apadapter or hardware acceleration (something like that).

anyways, you looking for a slider, it will most likely be all the way to the right; take it down 2 notches.

this (for the most part) solved my issues with this on xp/nuendo

how's this perform on vista? does the problem not exist at all?

i used to have this problem in XP after a few hours into a project ( I'm running on-board 790gx video, not a videocard) ....but now I installed windows 7, and not had a problem since.:kickass:

I had this problem. I have removed my 3Gb switch. Also moved the two Ram / i own 4 gb total/ modules to another slots on the mother board.
And it is fine now...

I had this same problems in sonar today, had to bounce the drumagog tracks down. So what do you mean about moving the 3gb switch. I have 2 * 2 gig sticks should i just move them to a different slot?

its a boot option

take it out of your boot.ini and boot windows, drumagog will work

if you're working with east west / play engine in xp, put the /3GB switch back into the boot.ini and boot windows, play engine will work

its a fun game to play as you try to produce a record!!
