Drumagog question.

Is there any way to control the tail/sustain of samples without exporting them, editing, then importing back? I have a problem where I samples toms and they have way to much sustain.

I had the same problem once. I fixed it with the method you're trying to avoid though.

If they're folding over each other and getting muddy, lower your multi samples setting to 2. Might help...

Slow Attack... Long Release... little-to-no make-up... Ratio ~4:1...

this will push the body down and leave the attack

Thanks to eveyone for your suggestionos. I am actually using the comp method but that's kit's got 5 tracks of toms and I was looking fo a way to control the sustain from Drumagog. I'm trying to minimize the number of plugins + I'm sending each chanel through my board without grouping for now. My question is regarding drumagog - is there a way to control sustain. I'm going through the manual - maybe the dynamic groups hold an answer. I'll definitely post something when I find it!
