Which compressor do you prefer on the drum bus?

So I hear many saying. Look, at its price point it's temping to get just for the sake of more options, but with my real GSSL unit and the Rocket I'm finding the need somewhat diminished. Still, so many people dig it and I might not be hearing what I should be yet. I'd be tempted to use it as an individual drum compressor simply because it has so much fat attack!
 
I tried the raw file with the SSL FX G384 with your settings and I couldn't get near the loudness of the other files without peaking.

I then tried the Waves SSL and came to the same conclusion.

It seems to me that those files that were processed are all beyond 0 (peaking).

With the settings below I created the file Processed_02 you can see below.
The peak is -0.2 and RMS is -22.1
In your file the peak is 0.0 and RMS is -20.5


The gain reduction was -4 on the snare hit you mentioned.
As you can see below comparing your file and mine the loudness is very different.

Could you please check your settings and see if it's not peaking.
