Drummers: Best long boards?

Everytime I walk into the drum section of whatever music store, I've gotta caress the 9000 series pedals. so hott

Yeah, they just seem to have that extra bit of weight I'm looking for from a pedal. I'm not into all of this heel-toe/longboard shite as I can go damn fast with single strokes. But with the Axis, when going fast, I just can't even 'feel' the drum - the DW9000s feel better to me in this department.

I just got endorsed by Axis... got my longboards coming this Fri! I chose to upgrade with the EKits for triggering so I'll be able to give some feedback on that. I had picked up the Pearl Demon Drives and had them for about a month. They were great pedals but after going back and forth between the two I decided Axis was the much better choice for me.

I've never played a set really. Not sure how much used cobras are going over there, but there are like 3-4 sets on CL for under 200 bucks.

How'd you get endorsed?

I don't know why there aren't more triggers built into pedals. It's a great idea.

I got a recommendation from another endorsee and then spoke with them and sumbitted a press kit to show that I'm a legit musician in a touring band. Was fairly simple actually!

I've never been one to trigger live because I'm a heavy hitter. Hopefully this becomes another tool in the arsenal.
