Drums & Bass - what do you think about my rhytm-section?

I've spend a few days to optimize the sound of my rhytm-section.

Please give me a feedback about how it sounds and how you would tweak it.

Thx. I think the snare is a bit annoying, don't you? I compared it with a couple of the Steven Slate snares, and compared with them it sounds still like plastic. So I'm thinking about getting the library, although my budget is not that big at the moment.

I agree about the snare. Don't think it sounds plastic though. It just sounds like the regular rock snare. I'd use a more "exciting sounding" snare for metal stuff.

Getting Steven Slate library is a good idea, and you can also check in the drums samples section of this forum, there are plenty of good snares (blending 2 different snares is a good idea too).
