you make a mixture of egg, milk, flour and a tiny bit of salt and then you just put some buttah in a frying pan and fry away basically

Pretty much the same here,but we use ordinary water instead of milk And I mostly fill them with lingonberry jam or chocolate cream

Also,I hate how American pancakes are so thick and tasteless. Pancakes are supposed to be very thin.

I think you guys are generalizing "American" pancakes. You seem to be referring to pre-made pancake mix types of recipes when you post your pics/opinions. Most people I know who have a homemade recipe for pancakes do the so called "swedish" method.

I don't know anyone that has cooking knowledge that makes pancakes like the ones Jocke posted above. Those are store bought style

Yup the fast food pre-made batter kind that most shit restaurants serve. The syrup is mostly honey. Nasty even by my very lenient standards
