Pork eating causes diseases and shits. Why should I put myself in any risk
Also, I always try to keep away from anything that can cause me health problems like alcohol, cigarettes and eating such stuff as pork.

no mad cow disease in pork but pig meat doesn't stay good in warm weather which is why i guess it's more usual in the northern parts of the world than the southern.

I don't know about that. But it's available in some restaurants and all the hotels here anyway.
I'm very picky about food, last year i was about to go to Japan to study there, and the only thing i was thinking about was what would I eat there !!

It's called Quran (Koran, Qur'an).
In the Quran, it was said that pork shouldn't be eaten becoz it's unhealthy and it's a dirty animal and so on. Or you wanna know why did it say so in Islam?
