eh... I didn't think I was gonna be going to the gig last night... then at the last minute me and a couple of mates decided that we would go.

So anyway... we caught Vanishing Point and that was great. For various reasons we were all knackered after that though, so we thought "we'll give these guys a bit of a go, and then decide if we want to stick around for the whole set or not".

So in the end we watched the first 4 or 5 or 6 songs... and it was pretty cool. I was impressed by the band's musicianship and stage presence, but I didn't know the songs so I wasn't really getting in to it. Then it just got too hot and crowded, I had a heap of drunk guys behind me crashing into me, and bellowing the wrong lyrics and melodies along with every song! - seriously, I couldn't tell if it was a piss take or not... but yeah... we decided we'd had enough and left.

Now it's the day after and I've had the chorus to "tears of a mandrake" running through my head all day. So I downloaded the mp3 off of their website and... WOW what a fucking great band!

So now I'm kicking myself for not buying the damn album a month or two ago and getting into the songs. I woulda had an awesome night if I did... well I had an awesome night anyway, but you know what I mean!

ehhhh yeah just felt the urge to share that with ya all :p
 
Go to Kryal Castle on Friday night to see them :D

I had the best spot during Edguy! Front row, but you see there was a barrocade aobut 1 foot from the stage and I snuck in front of that so I was leaning against the stage and also had nobody crashing into me coz the barrocade was right behind me haha. It was quite a tight fit though lol.
 
I was just opposite Troops at the front. He was over to the right of centre, I was on the left. It ruled! :D

I am seriously thinking of seeing them at the Kryal Castle.

I'm havign the dinner there too which means I get to hang around with the band for a couple of hours afterwards hehehe.
 
That sounds great, but $60?
I don't think Mr Visa would like that at the moment..

Is the concert early in the night or something?
 
I'm not sure, I'll tell you as soon as I find out the info though hehe.

Yeah I can't really afford $60 now either but I've already been booked for the dinner at a table with some friends and stuff.

Well the little hottie with the really long curly dark hair, jeans and lacey black coat thingy will be on the table :D She's that chick I mentioned in another thread that I like hehe.

And if you mean the little blonde one in the VP top that everyone seems to like, that's my sister LOL!

lol that must be it then ;)

it was definately a shortish skirt and fishnets though... I noticed cos she was standing on a chair when I walked past.... ;)
