Sounds amazing, and I'm really surprised by how smooth the high mids are, definitely none of the usual 5150-ish 2k overload...

Honestly I like them both equally. This head isn't really comparable with the EVH though. They sound totally different. That being said I love the clean channel on this head more than any head I have owned before. It can be a little tricky to dial in though I won't lie and it definitely doesn't hide playing flaws. I love it though none the less.
