Behind the mist.
Bad News:

Well, it looks like everything has hit the shit as I expected it to. At first I was like "Oh shit, this is what I get for waiting so long," but apparently even if I DID finish Runedance in a timely fashion, it would have never hit CD or vinyl. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Ashes Records folded a few days ago. :(

So, it is with a heavy heart I announce that this EP is officially put on hold until next year. After collaborating with David, it just seems like the right thing to do. I feel that Runedance is simply not developed to the point where I would be happy with releasing it. I have only a few days until I move to Vermont... what would be the point of rushing it?

I made a lot of promises to people concerning this EP, and now I owe a few of you some favors. I can offer monetary compensation, or you can continue to wait for this release. PM me, please.

Good News:

I'll be releasing another demo(promo?) on tape or CD-R with some new material in hopes of finding another label. I promise that it'll be circulating by January, and hopefully we can get this show back on the road.

Sorry to whoever this might concern.

Better then you rushing something out if you're not happy with it. Good luck with everything, and i look foward to whatever you release

you know i could complain, but i'm no better myself, so i'll just say that i'm disappointed but what can you do... at this point i wasn't really expecting this to come out any time soon anyway.

rest assured that ashes records folding means approximately nothing for noltem, there are so many labels of that caliber that would be eager to release the ep/album/whatever that to be frank that is not a valid excuse to not finish the music as intended

max if you're going to learn a lesson from this, make it this one: do not set deadlines. do not make promises that you cannot keep

also i don't mean this to sound overtly harsh or anything, take your time obviously, rushing shit is one of the prime forces that is destroying metal, but you know... giving people false expectations is not a good thing

I've never heard Noltem except for a few myspace thingies and never said much in encouragement (because I suck at stuff like that), but I really am looking to this release, whenever it may arrive.

I finally decided to listen to Noltem today. I listened to the mp3 on the homepage and on myspace, and enjoyed them both. Is there anything else to listen to?

well the demo has 3 songs so simple math says you probably have one released song left to listen to

ah yes, but there is only one song on myspace and the same song is on the website. so he has TWO released songs to listen to.

I wasn't fucking talking about "ARE THERE ANY OTHER SONGS IN EXISTENCE THAT I CAN HUNT FOR," rather "are there any other readily available mp3s that I can listen to."

Can't say much that hasn't been said already. Keep your chin up, lad! Up and up, bigger n' better. It's not like there aren't going to be opportunities galore with the style of music you're playing.

ok thats good matt now put that back in your pants where it belongs thats just disgusting :ill:

Hymn of the Wood is the only song on the Noltem website, aswell as being the only song on the myspace. You didn't listen to two songs, just the same one twice.

Actually I only listened to one song once because I lied about the part about myspace.
