I just read a review of this handy dandy little device, the Electro-Harmonix .22 Caliber 22 watt Power Amp, in this months Guitar Edge digital magazine. All I can say is damn is that a neat little device. It's a full fledge 22 watt Solid State power amp housed in a single stomp-box pedal sized package.
I can picture using one of these with something like my Digitech RP500 and a simple 2x12 or even a 1x12 cabinet loaded with V30's. Talk about portability.
We certainly are miniaturizing everything these days. I played through one of those older Crate PowerBlock power amps a few years ago and thought that was nice and small, but this takes the cake - all for about $99.00.
