Emergency! Quick advice needed

Ok so I just got a call about some tracking that needs to be done, and I am really interested in doing it but its got to be TONIGHT.

So as of today I am short a set of OH's till me new CAD's arrive on monday!

What do you guys recommend as a replacement to get this thing tracked tonight. All I have is some dynamic mics and GC here only carries condensers running $499 and Up, I cant afford to dump that.

2 Sm57?
2 i5?

I need something in the $100 range and CG has to carry it in stock as they are only guys in town... HELP!!!!!!

I use sm57 on almost anything. Snare for sure, Toms sounds awesome and we all know that its the mic to use for Guitars.

You can definately use a pair of 57s as Overheads, I mean really you could record the whole kit with 57s and get a usable drum sound, IMO.

Yeah place the 57's relatively close perhaps 20cm from the cymbals and you will be fine.

Well i talked to a buddy of mine and hes been using Sterling Audio ST31's for a while. Im gonna give em a shot!
