Emg pot replacement help.

Hey guys I need some help with this...

I installed an EMG707TW in my guitar but there seems to be a problem with the push/pull pot, I can't lower the volume smoothly it just cuts abruptly at some point when I try to lower it.
So, I want to get a replacement pot, I've found in thomann.de these two:

I'm not sure what are the differences and which is the right one for me...anyone can shed some light please?

The first one has a longer shaft, second one is standard. For LPs, you would need longer shaft as the top is thicker. For superstrats and stuff, it's thinner so you'd need standard.

I have a schecter blackjack C7....so I guess I'm going with the normal one.
How about the KOHM...that particular is 25KOHM, is it possible that it's not the right replacement? These are the only replacements I found in thomann.de should I maybe look elsewhere?

Sorry about the totally newb questions...I'm lost when it comes to electronics...

25 kOhm pots are definitely what you want with EMG's, so that much is accurate!
