I quite like Prometheus - The Discipline Of Fire & Demise, though it's a bit more brutal then the usual Emperor offering.

Prometheus seems more brutal because of the production. If they re-recorded Anthems the same way they produced Prometheus (I hope that never happens), it may sound more brutal, but the atmosphere lost.

Good point. The bass is definately ramped up on Promethius, and they keyboards are less audible. It's still a good album, but doesn't delivery the same feeling as Nightside Ecilpse.
