ENDITOL Album Mix

Good job so far, sounds great!
I found the kick drum during the fast double bass passages at the beginning to be overpowering, but fine during the rest of the song. Quick fix with some volume automation.

I'm looking forward to when this comes out!

Tiny bit more snare level, and also I agree that the double kick was overpowering at times, but otherwise I have nothing to add

+1

And also I find that sometimes the vocals arent as "glued" into the mix as I would prefer, but maybe some saturation/volume automation/verb/delay would help that.

Anyway, can't wait for this to come out, I will definitely buy it!!!

Thanks mang! I'm doing all that on the vox already... It's definitely a challenge to balance between 'glued' and 'in your face' enough.

I think this may sound even better than the Divinity stuff. I agree the vocals are really sitting on top instead of sitting in. I would take 'em down a good about, push the ambience up, and cut out some vocal low mid content.

did you use metal foundry for what? cymbals?

TMF is the bulk of the drums. Nir-Z snare is brought in via X-Drum, then blended with Slate snare (12a and 18 mixed). Kick is a sample blended with TMF.

Thanks for listening!

Awesome work! It's great to hear you writing Enditol stuff again. To this day, I still throw on All Hope Universal every once in awhile because the scale changes in that song are just brilliant.

Cheers! Hope Universal will be on the album too, I re-tracked the guitars with my JP7 with Painkillers and of course re-mixed / re-mastered it. Maybe I will post the new version in a bit.

So fucking good. I agree about the vocals being a bit too upfront...really dig the mix otherwise.

Thanks mang! I will update the OP with a tweaked version, diddled the vox EQ and automation moves a bit. Sounds pretty close to my references to me, I want the vox in yo face! :headbang:

Sounds like you were very, very busy editing! Takes "staccato' to a whole new level. Guitar tone is a little scooped for my tastes, but that's a very minor gripe. Wonderful job!
