84's definitely don't produce the same amount of bass as 34's or 6L6's. Though I still get some thick sounds out of my JCA20 which has EL34's in it.

Well, I've used a Tiny Terror and a Dual Terror in the past, and they're lacking in the low-end department. I'm talking sub 200hz.. plenty of low-mids to cloud your recordings, but the girthy lows... not so much, even through a 4x12 I always thought they sounded kinda grainy and lacking body. I don't expect this to be any different tbh.

Colour me disinterested.
