Yes, around this time last year they were being hailed that title in every magazine I could read (back in Canada, Trivium isn't known much here).

They remind me of the bands such as Limp Bizkit,... and the rest of the shit you hear on the radio. All these people think they are walking around being metal while driving their little jeep to the beach with their jock friends, blasting rock radio, thinking you are badass,...
5 years down the road the bands are gone, their fame back to the gutter, ... leaving us true metalheads with a feeling of victory over mediocrity.
All it takes, is a quick look at their MTV style fans going to their show to realize it.
Being labeled as new Metallica, ... dunno, would not be too proud of it, Metallica has not done anything worth a shit in well over 10 years.

I was there when they played it. AT the time I was, as everything bad sounds better live, fuckin awed. Then when I heard it live it was like "But this isn't as good as I remembered it...?" Still better than St. Anger Management though.

Man, I suffered through Trivium at the AA/CoB tour and even then I didn't entirely realize how awful they are. Watching this video was funny, but also excruciating. I can't imagine listening to that crap repeatedly and not bleeding from the ears.

The worst part is having to suffer thru another COB show in order to see AA ... well kind of good that COB is headlining. I am tired of going to shows and feel like I am in the middle of disney club metal version.
