I recall trying out for ND with my guitar in regular E tuning and the low string dropped to a D, and Steve and Paul said "it needs to be down HERE" and then played Steve's low string, which was hovering somewhere around a B. My mouth gaped. My strings got all floppy.

Should I be ashamed of that? C'mon, it happens to everyone at some point.

Ok, as I said, I knew it would be a little far fetched for you guys to be big fans of Sonic Youth. Their tuning primarily is what made me think of you guys.

Anyhow, if you like distorted noise rock with some good harmonies, check them out sometime. Certainly not for everyone, which I completely understand.

Not even ND related but I still really like their music. I would consider them an influence of mine.
