ESP std VIPER

Got a guy bringing over a 2006/7 ESP std Viper gloss black in 'mint.....' condition tomorrow . He wants £750 but is willing to part ex with a Dean FBD ML which is a fucking dog of a guitar I never play . He willing to knock £400 off the £750 for the dean in part ex .... which I am pretty happy about . Any opinions on the deal or the Viper ?

dont know what that is in dollars but my viper is the shit my favorite of all , and I have lps strats ect, killer guitars , buy it now

I have a LTD Viper also. Its OK guitar but I much prefer my Schecter Hellraiser.

The bridge pickups are EMG 81 and are mounted very far from the strings
( EMG 81 are supposed to be mounted very close to the strings ) and I think
it ends up sounding too bright for metal rhythum.

Im the happy owner of a ESP Viper Standard series guitar for about 2 years now, and I couldn't be more glad I bought it. It's a really sweet guitar! Built to last and imo it's one of the best looking guitars I have seen too! If you haven't tried it, you should really consider doing it!

Did it , he gave me more for the Dean than I paid ! On the subject of Dean guitars that really was a terrible guitar Dime would def not approve .
