I am leaning towards the Recto but tried this today.
Test of the EUGG mix comp song with my Marshall 8100.
The Chuck Schuldiner head.

Listening to that makes me super pissed about the fact that my 8100 broke down (the power transformer blew, I had that tested, probably buying a new head would be cheaper than repairing the old one), that sounds really good, it's almost unbeliveable that tone is coming from cheap transistor head . The mix is also great.

Had a good listen to Death after hearing that valvestate 8100. second hand for £100 and sounds great!
