ever heard a peavy classic 50 doing metal?

well its not really a mix.. and not a tone. but decided to test how my old peavey classic 50 head might sound with TS 9, and with the amp distortion channel.

just a stuiped riff with idiotic drums...

sounds.... special?

I have a classic 30 and I love it. can be really marshally if you want.

as it is now, that sounds like a good stoner rock tone. needs more gain for metal though

I have a Peavey Stereo Chorus (Solid State w/t two 12" Scorpions) and it has a fantastic OD channel, plus the chorus is killer. Bought it new in the 90's. Surprisingly alot of these early Peaveys sound great recorded.
