My fave character of the whole show was the Evergrey Roadie who was 300 pounds and w/o a shirt.. The guys would go chat w/ him as they were changing guitars- I saw him holding a syringe at one point-- Dare I ask what for?

Did you see him & Tom (vocalist) slow dance at one point?! :D The roadie was a favorite of my boyfriend (Wandrail) & I as well! haha!

~Sh0k~

Sure did! That was such a hoot!!!! He is quite the character ----- and he took such excellent care of the Evergrey guys! Next time I see Evergrey though, I might have to bring along a 6XX shirt just in case....LOL!! :) Way to go dude!

Also- the guy was so attentive- any screw up on stage- when the guitarists plug came out, he lumbered over to fix it.. Man, I would like to have had a few beers w/ that dude

You guys have no idea how hard Biff worked. The guys didn't arrive to the venue until 2:30pm. Biff worked on their guitars for hours all the way until showtime. He is one of the hardest working and funniest bastards I have ever met. Did you see him wipe the condensation off the beer cans before he handed it to them? That's attention to detail.

Amazing guy.

Glenn H.

I thought the guy kicked butt !! Yeah he's a big guy, but he was hustling and solving problems as soon as they arised and the band never skipped a beat. That guy can move !! The Steelers need an Offensive Tackle with some feet like him !!

THE ROADIE RULETH!!! :) He rocked kind of reminded me of UFC fighter Tank Abbott...the slow dancing scene was beautiful, brough tears to my eyes (not for crying but laughing my ass off). :) Glenn, Biff should be the PP mascot that dude worked his ass off...I think I took some pictures of the crew...as soon as I get them on line I will post them! :)

Cheers

He'll be on tour with Kind Diamond on the upcoming tour if you wanna hook up and try to have a beer with him after the set.
And Glenn is right - he came in like a hurricane, helped us get their stuff set-up QUICKLY (we were almost in his way). And he then changed strings on 4 of the 6 guitars ... he worked right up until their set.
Biffin is a great guy, and funny as hell...

Given the angle from which I was taking pictures, Biff is in many of them (supervising from the side of the stage) - I was too late to catch the waltz with Tom, though. heh!

Biffin rules! :)

Hey did any Evergrey FANatics get their set list? I am new to this band (but am so into them now!) but I would love to see a set list - I didn't know the songs as they played them, and Trilogy of the Damned, and I'm Sorry were the only ones whose titles I heard!

WarmWetOs ---- WAY COOL WHAT YOU'RE LISTENING TO, DUDE!!!!! Spread the word - the Alex Skolnick Trio kicks ASS!!!!

Thanks bro!!! Glad you are into the trio as well...heck they might go over well at PP I am willing to bet although I have a feeling the majority of the concert goers wouldn't get them since they don't do vocals. Best way to describe them is taking famous metal songs and turning them into a jazz rendition which kicks major ass!!!

Get a load of this not only do I listen to those guys but I saw them last night at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, California. They kicked major ass!!! They played a great set (all covers) let me see if I can remember:
1. Detroit Rock City
2. Dream On
3. Still Loving You
4. Goodbye to Romance
5. War Pigs (which was so fucken amazing, Skolnik started wailing on the guitar!)
I think they also did like a long jam where guitars, drums and bass all had their turn kicking ass (it might have been Skol Blues).

With all fairness to Poland and Friedman who were amazing themselves (and that bass player from OHM I forget his name was amazing, and Ginger's son Kofi Baker on drums kicked major ass) Sklonik had my blood pumping! :)

I have some great pics of that show which also included Chris Poland and OHM and Marty Friedman...I can not believe that the venue was 1/2 empty...oh well it was more room for me to take pictures and hang out. I will post them and the PP pictures soon enough!

Keep on rocking brotha mgirishfan!!! Cheers

Mare and I /among others) saw the Trio in Fells Point here in Baltimore last spring. I didn't stay for the whole set (they played for nearly three hours, I think), but it was awesome stuff.

Biff is probably the coolest roadie I have ever met. I was told that he is practically a legend in Europe, and works for some of the biggest bands. Apparently, he sometimes draws bigger crowds to signings than some bands do. :)
