Can someone explain to me the song title/album title? I mean Recreation Day? Really? Like...is this the cd I'm suppose to jam on the way to Six Flags? Am I supposed to pump up the volume on this one when I'm swinging at the park? Maybe I'm totally off base, but I'd appreciate it if this was explained to me.

Recreation can also mean, well, to re-create something. "The act of creating something anew". It's been a long time since I've listened to the song, and can't recall all the lyrics, but I think it's about every day being a new chance to start again, to re-create.

Sorry GLEN, but if you look the word up in the dictionary, there is nothing about your definition of the word recreation. You can't just make up definitions of words because it fits in with your fanboyism. It'd be different if he pronounced it "ree-kree-ay-shun", but he doesn't. It pronounces it like it is in the dictionary.

As for my walking the thin line, it's whatever. If you wanna delete me because I don't agree with you on every topic, then go ahead. Because it's simply nothing more than that.

It's an intentional play on words that Tom discussed in several interviews in the past...but honestly, that's not the issue here.

There are tons of people who disagree with me on multiple topics. I have no problem with that and I welcome debate. In fact, I encourage it when it's done well (shout out to the Chicago Posse!) What I have a problem with is when someone is abrasive for no reason. This is not the only thread where you have presented yourself in such a manner. Like it or not, this is my house. I have worked very hard to establish the atmosphere here in this forum. If you do not like how I run things, then I will indeed delete you and not lose any sleep. I wouldn't expect you to give a shit either as your posting history indicates.

I don't think either one of us needs to say anything further in this thread. We move on and see what the next thread brings...
