Hmm..this is very hard. My music taste has changed a lot..but here it goes.

Shit, you could ask anyone here who they would prefer to listen to. CC are fuckin cheap, they put no fuckin effort into their music, there's no rythem, fuckin cheap voice (anyone can make that shitty voice), every song is the fuckin same, the only difference is a riff here and there. And atleast CoF have a shit load of unique songs and better music.

You do have a point there, both have their flaws: CC:stated above CoF:annoying, crossdressing hobbit. I do feel that Cof is better, because like you said they have musical variation, where as CC, every song sounds the same.

Cannibal Corpse makes more interesting music with guitar/bass/drums on one song than Cradle of Filth does on an entire album of synthesizers, vocal effects, opera singers, movies samples, guitar effects, drums triggers, guitars, basses, drums, and whatever else they pour in with their profits from their sub-sophomoric merchandise to make their music quasi-listenable. CC aside, how do CoF songs differ? Every CoF song follows the same formula:
1. Shitty, boring keyboard intro
2. Main Guitar riff
3. 6 versus of Dani Filth screaming like a chipmunk being boiled alive
4. Boring keyboard solo/bridge
5. Dani repeats the same 6 verses mentioned in item #3.
6. Long, drawn out ending, complete with Dani squealing, pick slides, and cymbal crashes.
To call Cannibal Corpse devoid of any ability to play their instruments screams ignorance of music and general stupidity. I know that CC is not well liked on this forum, but I'm sure that everyone here would agree that CC are more than capable musicians.
