(Filth vocals across all 5 albums are EQUALLY furring superb! IMO)
 
i agree with the graph. mikael has gotten more and more confidence and practice with his clean vocals on each album. and his bellows, grunts, whatever you want to call them, get so deep and crushing on some parts of BP it seems inhuman (verse in BLeak for example). but it is all better than any other death/black metal vox i have ever heard and better than any "acoustic rock" vox i have ever heard. god damn, i wish opeth made albums on a weekly basis.
 
In my opinion Mikael's vocals were at their best on MAYH. They are the perfect mix of both growling and clean as they both seem to blend into each other effortlessly (as do the songs!).

Although I must say, the clean stuff on BP sent shivers down my spine the very first time I heard it (especially in Bleak), and I think this was largely down to the influence of Steve Wilson. :)
