Can you give me the "formula" (intervals above the tonic) of that scale? I'm not familiar with that, or maybe I call it something else.

Nile use the Egpytian scale, CDFGA# The intervals are T 2Major 4th 5th 6+. The raised 1 1/2 skip gives it a really exotic sound, and the augmented 6th makes it more 'far out' in my opinion.

Lykathea Aflame and Secret Chiefs 3.Both of them use Middle Eastern scales ALOT.
Think of Al Queda jamming out some metal.
