Fairfield reservations

Most hotels will let you book up to a year in advance.....the problem is, what weekend will it be next year? :D Only Glenn knows for sure....and maybe not even Glenn. It'll probably be in September, but the last two have been on slightly different weekends....

i was thinking of getting a room there too if i go next year. the super 8 was pretty boring. so if i can manage my money issues, i'll try to make it this year to the shows and to the Fairfield.

It's not a big deal to get a reservation. I got mine from Travelocity on May 1. In a half hour's time I bought my tickets, and got a flight and a hotel room.

The Fairfield would be perfect if there was a Starbucks merely Steps away. I've stayed at the Fairfield last year and it was alot of fun...but hey This year the Residence Inn and the Starbucks was barely steps away. With a Quiznos not too much farther than that!

Starbucks...it's required for all PP attendees ;)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Starbucks is the ANTI METAL!!! Although, dont let anyone know but sometimes, (like three times a week) I drive through when its dead and as and get a crack drink (the venti frappachinos) and drive away as fast as possible and hold the drink down and wait til I get home to enjoy the crackness. God those rule.

Indeed, the Residence Inn is the place to be. Starbucks, and a really good restaurant right next door (I forget the name, but it starts with an "M"). Plus the rooms are really nice. I'll be staying there from now on...

I went through a travel agent for this year. It was cool cause I got all kinds of killer deals. I was kind of sad seeing as how last year the Grenada was "The" place to be... but let me tell you... I LOVED being at the Fairfield Inn. Next year I'll be there for sure!

We've been at the Grenada for 4 years straight and absolutly love the last 3 years there... it was lame shit this time around. They would lock the door at night, and have a security guy walk around (follow you in my case) and tell people to be quite, or try an eject them if they were not guests there. On my way up to my room on the 3rd floor Saturday night, I was stopped and asked if I was a guest at the hotel at 12:45am, I said "Yeah, This Year...." and he said, "just make sure you keep things at a low volume, okay? we have other guest here...". so what, I'm 12 years old again? lame-o :Smug:

We'll be shooting for the Fairfield next year as well... if not another hotel, but definatly not the Grenada.

BTW Metalrose... are you really from Wyoming??? If so.. I didn't realize it when we met at the fest. or you told me and I missed it... what city in WY?

The Fairfield was the place to be for sure. The staff was great and had alot of patience dealing with all of the partying going on until the sun came up. We will be staying there again next year, and I am going to write their corporate HQ an email saying how nice they were.
Friday night was a blast, I just wish I didn't have to drive back early Sunday to Florida. I would have liked to hang more on Saturday. Next year it looks like I need to stay until Monday!!!

That sounds great, but the real question is will they be just as nice next year. From what I have heard though, The Fairfiled is the place to be.
