I'm just now getting back into all this shit, and browsing all the threads that are out there. I just thought about that thread from like 10 years ago when one guy pretended he had a studio that he didn't have. I was looking for it and couldn't find it. That shit was entertainment, does anyone remember where this thread is?

omg that's definitely it. Nostalgia to the extreme right now lol, we've had quite a few blunders back in the day but that one might take the cake

Yeah , really special kind of dude. I think he claimed other things like faking a recording saying he miced a drumkit and in the end it was clearly EZ Drummer. Oddly enough , the dude did have some talent , he was working with J.Sturgis at some point.

Lol, that's exactly what it was. I never had a problem with anything he did, just a really funny part of the community. Led to the most elaborate internet investigation I have ever seen.
