Oh come on, 'Spectre Within' and 'Awaken The Guardian' are miles ahead of 'No Exit' (they're miles ahead of most Heavy Metal of the 80's in all actuality). 'No Exit' is a great album though, and it definitely needs a good remix and remaster job.
 
I'd buy anything old from Fates to take my mind off their latest album "FWX" :yuk: ... Now when's that next John Arch album coming ???
 
Boy howdy, I seem to be losing brain cells left and right these days. I've already got the remastered version of Spectre and had forgotten that. Never noticed a major change in the production. I'd like to hear the two versions back to back for comparison. As for the extra tracks... I never listen to them. Just the album, please.

As for the next John Arch... it can't come soon enough for me! (if it ever comes)

Hahahaha, nice. Well, the reason for little to no change was because the production was already completely impeccable. Perhaps the best production on an 80's Metal album.

It took me MANY listens to get into "FWX" I though it was shit at first ... but man I love that record now! there is just a certain something about it .. its very Deep .. if you let it take you its great ... as for John Arch ... well me and TSO have coverd where we will both be when that album is released Fighting to the fron tof a non-exsistant line to the A Section of the record store! :)
 
Is there actually going to be a John Arch full length? I friggen hate any Fates after No Exit, most Dream Theater and whatnot, but I thought the John Arch EP was very good Prog Rock.

hahaha I dont know if there is or not ... but "Twist of Fate" is Fantastic!!! :) ... I Like "Perfect Symmetry" and "Pleasent Shades of Grey" but theres alot of their stuff I cant handle ... but the Arch albums are Awsome!

Hell yeah it is! I remember first picking it up, and hearing that soft intro to 'Relentless,' and then.... "WAAAAAY-AAAY--AAAY-AAY-A-A-A-AAAAAAAAAAAAY"

and I was like: "HE'S STILL GOT IT!"

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: FUCK YEAH DUDE!!!! I had the same Reaction more or less I actually thought "Hes still got it and More" IMO he actually sounds Better on Twist than he ever had :)
