FAULTY INTERFACE CONNECTION

so i just tried to plug in a pod with my usb cable that i usually have plugged into my fast track. ever since then i plugged it, Reaper will no pick up the sound, but i can still hear it through my speakers (which i normally couldnt hear a signal until i arm a track for recording. so now i cannot record guitars until i can get this fixed. i feel like its just something that im overlooking, but i cant find a solution on the internet, so im posting here.

can anybody please help me with this situation???!!!

Are you saying the Pod is having the problem or the Fast Track is having the problem?

its both, the audio signal in general

what device is selected in Reaper?

The Fast track has a MIX knob too.

ive selected asio4all and the fast track for my asio device and neither work. and i havent touched the mix knob or anything. even when i turn it, it doesnt make a difference.

try a different USB cable and port?

tried a different port, muted the line-in playback and now it works

like i said, i felt like it was something simple that i was just overlooking, but thanks for reminding me!

ok now the only thing i cannot seem to get any playback from is any audio from dropbox. i can hear audio from youtube and any other media players, but why might it be that i cannot hear dropbox audio???

i have it set to what it is usually set as, "SB Live! Wave Device". when i set it to my interface, i cant get any playback from anything at all.

ok so i can listen to .wav files on dropbox, but i cannot listen to mp3s. and i cant find where in the settings to change that. anyone know?

id really like this to be fixed but this thread seems to be ignored -.-
