favorite clean guitar plugin? amplitube? th1?

Ive been using AMPLITUBE2 for a while, its been quite nice, i also have overloud TH1, its pretty neat as well.

Whats your favorite? or what do you recommend I'm looking for something ambient something that sounds nice i.e. nirvana come as you are or radiohead creep

Have you tried Acmebargigs stuff? http://www.acmebargig.com/product/red-shift/ There are some acoustic / piezo impulses in there, which sound pretty good. you just need to apply the effects.

I actually struggle to find decent clean sounds with modellers. Mind you I've only got Amplitube LE and POD Farm standard, where most of the "clean amps" are actually more a crunchy sound.
No worries though, my XXX and TH30 both have great clean channels

I use amplitube fender for pretty much all of my prisitine clean sounds, its great!

Trev, when i use amplitube i tend to bypass the cab inside amplitube, sounds much better that way to me. Maybe you should try that.

I've been highly impressed with IK lately, especially now that models can be added to the free version ala cart.

Brilliant. Plus the modeling has come a long ass way since amplitube 2.

Amplitube Fender isn't bad for cleans. Don't expect AT to deliver good distortion though.

I use amplitube fender for pretty much all of my prisitine clean sounds, its great!

This - Amplitube Fender has has truly wonderful clean tones. It does a great job of capturing those sparkly Blackface Twin tones I love so much. If I'm ever looking for a modeled clean tone I use Amplitube Fender, but I also have my Fender Super Champ XD(upgraded my Vibro Champ a few months ago) when the mood to mic up strikes me - great little tube amp for clean Fender tones on the cheap.
