hey everyone, im new here. thought id start a thread, hope this hasnt been discussed before!
so, what is your favorite soundtrack to a movie?
the last soundtrack i picked up was for the documentery 'murderball'. its really a great mix of some hard rock bands, including ministry. i would recommend everyone to check it out! the movie was great too!

anyhow, suggest some excellent movie soundtracks to me!

Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill 1 & 2 (Tarantino has the better taste for compilation soundtracks)

Scores by Danny Elfman & Angelo Badalamenti (respectively for Tim Burton & David Lynch)

picking just one would be impossible !

"The Last Samurai", "Gladiator" - Hans Zimmer
"Braveheart" - James Horner
"The Thing" - Ennio Morricone
"Crash", "Lord of the Rings" - Howard Shore
"Legend" - Tangerine Dream
"The Last of the Mohicans" - Randy Edelman, Trevor Jones
"Big Trouble In Little China" - John Carpenter

The list could go on and on ...

Everyone talks about this movie--including the music--and how great it is, but I've never seen or listened to the score. Is it that good? It seems as though I'm missing out on something.
