I always liked The Breathing Shadow the most, although they all rule supreme in their own ways. I dunno, I just love the vibe and atmosphere on the album, and how can one argue with "Nightfall Overture", "The Dreamreader" or "A Lesson In Evil"? Wish the entire album had real drums, but that's about the only fault I can find with it. Possibly the most emotional and desolate album Dan has ever recorded, at least in MY opinion.

Alive Again is a close second, though.

Hey dan, a best of would be nice. A selection of songs from the first 3 as played by the whole band.

Breathing Shadow will always hold a dear place in my heart. A Lesson In Evil was the first Nightingale song I heard, many many years ago.
