generally Queensryche are the GODZ of the universe, my fav band WHEN WILL THEY COME TO GREECE,??????
So nough said every queensryche album has its magic , except the last 2.The ep is a superbe heavy metal album , "The Warning" is a power metal masterpiece, "Rage For Order" is the definition of progressive metal , and it is a zillion light years away musicaly from everything .."Operation Mindcrime" is the TOP MASTERPIECE EVER , THE SUPERBE CONCEPT , THE GATHERING OF ALL POSSIBLE FEELINGS A MAN CAN HAVE ..."Empire" has songs like "Anybody listening?" "Della Brown" "Empire" in it , so enough said ...and "Promised Land" has A FUCKING MAGIC ATMOSPHERE , and masterpieces like the title track , "damaged" and my fav ryche song ever "Someone Else?" thats my second fav, the first fav is "Roads To Madness"...I Choose "Operation Mindcrime" for personal reasons, but the best album may be "Rage For Order" RYCHE ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good poll, it is a hard choice between Rage for Order and Mindcrime for me- cuz i love some of those Rag for order songs, but as a whole Mindcrime is the best, one of the best ever well in my opinion, I love Promised Land too.

Mindcrime is great, but so is everything before it. I always thought ryche were way ahead of their time. Great lyrics on Rage for Order.

I recently listened to Geoff Tate's soloCD, man oh man, he completely lost it, voice is still there I think, but the songs suck beyond believe....

to me RFO,OM and EMPIRE are in the same place
but i choose rage for order, to me the maximum evolution of metal in its classic form!

Hmm... Empires is my favorite, but I don't think it's their best. I seem to listen to it the most...

As good as some of their early stuff is, and as underrated as some of their post-Mindcrime stuff is, there is NO QR album like Operation: Mindcrime. That is a top 3 album of all time IMO.

This is true.
I actually listen to Empire & the Live Version of Mindcrime about the same. The studio version of Mindcrime is a little weak production wise. They "nailed" it on the Empire & the DVD audio
is fucking fantastic!
After I finish my Christmas shopping, I should pick up some more Queensrÿche, since all I have are Mindcrime and the EP...in a killer French import Deluxe Edition Set, mind you!! 
I should add that they're coming up here for New Year's. Just bought my ticket yesterday.

Rage for Order is their most progressive album. They were years ahead of their time when they released it. Too bad I can't say the same for their looks during that period
