I only own North from Here, and I've heard Amok and The Cold White Light. I'm not such a big fan of their later rock style. North from Here is my favorite so far, but perhaps Shadows from the Past would be my favorite if I heard it. In fact, I think I'll try to check that album out now.

Not really. I would classify Amok as complex heavy metal with harsh vocals. It's not death metal.
